LBC: Anime Inspired Coordinates ^_^

I've been trying to be more active with my blog, but I often get lazy & pick & choose which topics I want to do, but then this week's one was announced as "Anime Inspired Coordinates", which I HAD TO DO!! ^_^

Basically, I'm a HUGE OTAKU as Well as Lolita...Plus, I've been cosplaying for a few years now, so NATURALLY, When I realized that I didn't have an Actual cosplay outfit for my character...I turned to Lolita ^^

I was a little skeptical about mixing the 2, but my local cosplay community actually accepted my "Inspired looks", which makes me want to do MORE & MORE!!

Anyways, I've already done a few, so here they are:

First up, Yuki from Vampire Knight ^_^

I basically got a wig for cosplaying her waay in advance, but never had time to make or buy her actual outfit, so randomly, I decided to put together a Lolita outfit inspired by her and figured it would match her since a lot of her outfits are Lolita looking already ;D

 Full outfit breakdown:
Top: Baby the Stars Shine Bright
Skirt: Alice and the Pirates
Socks: Meta
Shoes: Demonia
Hairclip: handmade(not by me)
Violin bag: bought off comm sales
Keychain: ToysnJoys
Necklace: KKon one year ^^
Wig: Ebay
I tried to keep Vampire Knight elements, like roses & red
along with my fun Vampire Knight necklace & Kaname keychain ^^
The only deviation I added was the red contacts, like maybe Yuki in transition ;)
And my Photographer had lots of fun props, like this glass that Yuki's maybe drinking blood from, hehe ^^

Second: Inori from Guilty Crown

Another character I bought the wig for after I fell in love with the series & her character from watching the anime...& then, no outfit...again :/

But, as luck would have it, Closet Child got some pretty awesome pieces for cheap online, so I managed to snag an actual collab piece that was SUPPOSED to go with a Macross Character...but...I used it for my Inori look instead ;D

The original idea was supposed to be for Halloween, but there were delays getting my dress and then all of a sudden it was Christmas...but then, the theme for the lights was ANIME!! ^_^
So, I got all dressed up as Lolita Inori & took pics with the fun Anime/xmas themed decorations & lights ^^
Outfit breakdown:
JSK: BTSSB x Macross Frontier collab (Ranka I believe)
Socks & Shoes: Bodyline
Jacket: Offbrand
Hair accessories: handmade by me

You can't see it, but there's a big red bow w/ orange tulle in the back of the JSK, which I felt was close to Inori's look since her original outfit is red & orange ;)

Me trying to recreate her famous anime opening pose w/ the lights ;)

And then there's just random pictures of me playing around ;)

And a 3rd one was when I wore a Lolita dress with a cosplay of
Ciel from Kuroshitsuji ^_^
Ciel as an Angel perhaps ;)
Playing around with my Phantomhive bunny ^^
But the real reason for the outfit was to do the Girl version opposite of the Boy version ^^
(Mirror effect)
 Lolita outfit breakdown:
JSK: Bodyline
Socks: Meta (I think)
Everything else offbrand

I had a lot of fun mixing my 2 Loves together and I hope to do more Lolita Inspired Anime Characters in the future as well ^^

Now, here are some other Anime Inspired Coordinates:

LBC: Your favorite three pairs of shoes for Lolita

Lolita Blog Carnival

This was the PERFECT theme for me this week ^_^
Mainly b/c I was FINALLY working on my Lolita Wardrobe post ;)
But, also b/c I recently got a new pair of shoes that are AMAZING ^^

And here they are:
 1) AATP Cabriole Legs Ribbon Shoes in Red
These shoes are soooo amazing!! Not ONLY are they comfortable & surprisingly easy to walk in...the red is the perfect color & it matches A LOT of my Lolita pieces(teaser pic) XD

These red shoes match my AATP pieces of course, but other brands & even indie brands ^^
I just had time to try them on so far, but I can't WAIT to wear them out in some wonderfully classic coord ^^

 2) Funtasma Victorian boots in Gold
These have become my "go to" shoes for anything that's gold based or has gold ;)
It's super fun coordinating with these bold shoes & the victorian look makes outfits look even more classic ^^

here are some coords i've done with them
The gold shoes PERFECTLY accent my whitexgold coffin purse ^^

It's Blue x Gold for this coord with Mirage in Paradox ^^

And for a really bold look, pairing the boots with colored tights really makes the colors pop ^^

And lastly, it's a TIE for Third fave shoe:
3a) I'm between the ever classic RHS
I only have white right now, but I just bought a 2nd hand black pair & can't wait to get it ^^
Basically, these are my default Lolita shoes...& can be worn with Classic, Sweet, etc ;)

Here are some coords:
For this, I switched out my plain white ribbon laces for ones with crosses on them ^^

Another bunny coord w/ white lace top socks ^^

And then ANOTHER bunny (guess I associate these shoes with bunny ears ^^)
But this one was OTT sweet/mint, so I layered my socks & the white shoes really show off the mint socks well ^^

And 3b) Offbrand Brown Lolita Shoes
And the best thing about these shoes...THEY'RE FROM FOREVER21!! ^_^
I got it a while ago & use it for All my outfits that have brown in it ;)

Some examples:

These shoes give me lots of height XD

They're the perfect brown color for Steampunk Lolita

These shoes also match lots of chocolate prints ^^

And Bear prints ^_^

Plus, these 2 shoes are even MORE SPECIAL b/c I wore them when I met some awesome
Lolita Idols XDD

Meeting Iruma Rioka at Kawaii Kon ^^
She's such an amazing performer & so sweet in person XD

And...what may possibly be the best day of my Lolita life...Midori was a SUPER surprise guest at a friend's Welcome Back party & I had just gotten my Kuma Kumya JSK, which she recognized INSTANTLY ;)

Well, I noticed that a lot of my favorite shoes aren't actual Lolita brand shoes, but I've recently started buying MORE brand shoes, so I'll eventually make the switch over from offbrand to brand...although...I STILL think these will be my faves ;D

And now check out these LBC member's fave shoe choices:
