Making use of my bus pass ;D

Since the closing of Borders...& the start of my new temp/part-time job...I didn't have time to use my bus pass...so...last week I decided to use it before the month is over XD  & where did i go...the mall of course ;)  The one I used to work @...sigh...but, I actually went to the other side, so i didn't have time to be depressed w/ the old borders being turned into an Inspiration express :/

Anyways, when I got to the mall i was fine...but then...after shopping a bit...my stomach decided to give me problems...so, a bunch of the stores was me going in & out :(  

But, in the end, I got some AWESOME loot ^_^  & i probably spent a bit more than I intended to ;D

 Not including my 2 "shopping bags" in the back...Spencers had an amazing deal on clearance items: buy 1 get 1 free...so, i got the nightmare before xmas bag...& then got the red punky one for free XD  

Then, the cute socks were from Sears, manga from Bookoff & purple shoes were from Ross' ^^

Shopping @ Ross' was VERY successful & I also got my first animal print top ^^ & an awesome purple jacket to match (it was Steve Madden)   Then, I decided to wear ALL my new items & see how it looks...& actually, it sort of looks like one of those Tokyo Fashion snaps...maybe ;)

Haha, but the other interesting I thought of when looking @ my loot is how all these items represent a side of me: Artsy, Girly, Punky, Goth, & Otaku ^_^   

But, next up is HEXXP weekend, so there'll be LOTS of pics from that...hopefully ;D

Random fashions & purchases of the day ;)

Today, like usual, was nice, hot & humid XP  So, I decided to wear a sort of "casual fairy kei" outfit XD

The theme was: Winnie the pooh...& Eeyore too ^_^

 The white "Top" I got from goodwill (see thrifting posts) & I found it in the children's section XD

It was probably some little girl's dress...that i've now made into a top for me ;D

 & of course, I also found during the same trip, a cute Eeyore backpack to match ^^  I didn't really know how I was gonna wear the pieces, but as a last minute thought, I paired up the white top w/ my purple striped one...& I like how it came out ^_^  It's still not crazy/authentic fairy kei, but if I was into this fashion during school, i totally would have worn this outfit...sigh...but that's why now i'm having fun dressing up XD

So, I wore the outfit to Best Buy & ended up buying 2 cds :)

I found my Florence & the Machine album I wanted ever since I heard her song on SYTYCD ^^

& a Third Three Days Grace album I never knew existed...apparently it came out in '09, but that was when i was mainly listening to my ipod(jpop, anime music, etc), so i didn't even know what was going on in American music...& then, the best buy worker ringing the items up pointed to the tdc album & said "that's a very good album" hehehe ^_^

Okinawan Festival in Hawaii ^^

I hadn't gone in Years...but I finally got to go to the festival this year w/ my mom, my sister & her family & it was just as wonderful as I remember XD  Lots of good food...fun kids games...& even a crafts tent ^^  There was also entertainment, but we were too busy walking around...then, we sat down & ate ;D  Alright, here are the pics:

My prize from playing a kids game called Snake Hunt...was WAY harder than it looks O_O  Imagine digging through a gigantic mound of strips of paper...to find not 1, but 3 plastic toy snakes...sigh...my arm was so sore afterwards XP  but I got a cute bear out of it, so it was worth it ^^

P.S. In case you were curious, I am half Okinawan, half Japanese...my mom's side is Okinawan...& we actually have a club & i grew up going to the festival every year...& even helping sometimes...in the Andadog booth XD  it's always good to experience some of my heritage & I really hope i can go again next year...if anything, just for the amazing food: Andagi, Andadog, Yakisoba, Yakitori, Shave Ice, etc etc...  ;D

Hehe, YES! it seems like I go to Goodwill @ least 2 times a month...but i can't resist all those bargains...sigh... ;D  Heh, anyways, this is my latest Loot:

 Mainly clothes this time...with one AMAZING find by my friends...who were nice enough to let me have it ^_^  This Wonderful Jacket:

 Blue Fur!!! How could I resist XD  & the collar is detachable ^_^  Of course I "modeled" it w/ my Octopus ring & Q-pot cream ring ;)

There's another thrifting day coming up, but i've got lots of things already...just maybe more blouses to wear under stuff this time...or maybe...a white coat?  i seriously want one even though i'll melt here :/  

P.S. the clutter in the above pic is no longer there...I was cleaning ALL DAY Sunday >_<  but now it's all nice, clean & organized, so i guess it was a good thing ^^
