LBC: What is One piece that you could never give away and why?

 

Been a long while since I've done a Lolita Blog Carnival post, but this topic just spoke to me at the right moment and Also because I've been trying to decide what to sell & keep in my wardrobe ^_^

Anyways, I probably write about and talk about this piece too much, but AATP's Hymn OP is probably my most important & special piece I've acquired and so it's definitely one I can't bring myself to give up ^^

 Reason 1: First and foremost! IT FITS ME XDD

If you've ever looked up the measurements for this piece, it's pretty extreme since it's an older AATP design...and after owning the skirt for a while, I REALLY wanted the OP...even though I may not be able to fit it properly...but after I got the op, I tried it on and IT FIT O_O

the very first time I wore it out, I was still worried about the fit & if I could wear it for a long time...and to my surprise, I was able to go to our local comm's tea party meetup and I was actually very comfortable the whole time ^^

Reason 2: Midori wore it ^_^

After I had decided that Midori is my favorite Lolita model, I found this Kera mag that had her on it wearing my Ultimate Dream Dress (before I got it) ^^

This also prompted a fun photoshoot ;)

 

 

 Reason 3: It fits my Style perfectly ^^

I'm always between the light & the dark side and this piece lets me mix between 2 types of styles...and also lets me accessorize as I like ;)

and Now there's one more reason: I wore this when some guests from the brand came to our local anime convention...& I was chosen for best AATP coordinate:D

 

Definitely one of my favorite Lolita memories ^_^

And now I know the topic said one piece...but...I actually have a newer one that I probably can't bring myself to give up as well...and that is:

BTSSB x Card Captor Sakura collab dress ^^

I have a weakness for any brands that do anime collabs, but CCS is my all time favorite series, so when BABY announced their collab, I just KNEW I needed it!

My other hobby is cosplaying, so now I have a piece that I can use for cosplay and also to make fun Lolita coords with ^_^

Lolita Wardobe Post 2018!

So, Looks like I sold A LOT from last year's post...but...somehow I have more this year ;D

Well, I feel like the types of items I have changed as well ;)

Anyways, i'll try to organize this, but looks like I was all over the place with my purchases ^^

First, Ops:

I was never a big fan of OPs, but lately i've been finding them much more comfortable and way easier to coordinate outfits for (don't need a blouse) ^^

I also acquired some casual ones for every day wear. 

AATP Hymn OP

 My Ultimate wishlist dress that I magically fit & will keep forever! 

Last year at Kawaii Kon, I got another wonderful memory with this dress when I wore it & won best coordinate at the tea party with guests from BTSSB/AATP ^_^

I NEEDED this dress sooooo badly when it was announced that I immediately found an SS & put in my reserve ^_^

This is my favorite brand doing a collab for my Favorite anime series, so even though i've been off & on with pink pieces, I had to get it XD 

 IW Sugar Cake in pink

Yups! Another pink...I just need to admit to myself that pink matches me ;)

 IW Aileen Onepiece: My namesake dress ^^ 

I love the blue colorway, but I wouldn't mind getting the pink one day ^^

 Off brand, but totally wearable for Lolita & as a casual piece ^^

AATP Alice's Car Chase: Another Kon memory is wearing the Op version of this print & falling in love with it ^^ But...I think I match this style more XD

 I haven't bought from bodyline in a while, but this print was so cute & I ended up twinning with a friend who got the blue colorway ^^

 Ista Mori: I actually haven't tried this on yet, but I LOVE IT so much ^_^

I've worn this a lot & it's super comfortable & I still have more ideas for it ^^

JetJ Lapin et camee in pink: I now have the matching headdress and one day I'd like another JetJ piece ^^

AATP Sugar Plum Fairy princess: I Just got this skirt in my LP and i LOVE IT!! 

The fit is nice and the fact that it's Nutcracker themed just makes me love it more ^_^

I usually don't buy replicas, but this one was really cheap & the brand version is still pricey, so I just wanted to have something Cinderella themed ^^

 Bodyline skirt that I've worn many times and it's great for every day wear ^^

My latest fave brand: Gouk

I only drooled over the pieces when they came to Kon this year, but I managed to buy this skirt online shortly after for fandom reasons ;)

Meta Candy shower in blue

I LOVE this piece sooo much! It's colorful & the details are so cute ^_^

 off brand skirt, but totally can be loliable: It was a gift from a friend & I love it ^^

 Putumayo striped vest & skirt set: I've worn the set together & also separately and even to work ^^

h.Naoto Frill Library Bears(?) print??

When the brand came to our kon 2 years ago, I said if I saw the bear & book print, i'd buy it...and so I did...and then a friend found the matching top, so I got that too...& also the bonnet(will be shown on part 2: shoes, bags, accessories)

 The Phantom and the Maiden underskirt in white (I won this in a giveaway and it's great for adding nice length to things ^^)

BPN skirt: I actually use this a lot to act as a petti when it's too hot or uncomfortable to wear an actual petti...I need a white version now ;)

Pants: I only have 2 now, but maybe that's ok ^^

AATP Prince Rabbit's Corset Pants

I have issues with fitting kodona pants, but these fit & are pretty comfortable ^^

And Mint Neko pants I bought in CC in Harajuku! They're super comfortable & I can wear them to work ^^

Next is outerwear/coverups/cardis: 

 

 h.Naoto Honey coverup: came as part of a set with my Frill JSK and I've worn it a lot XD

Putumayo x Kirimi chan collab cardi: I HAD to get it and when I wore it, I ended up twinning with Putumayo's designer who wore the gray colorway XD 

AATP jacket: The fit of this jacket is perfect on me & can be used for boy style and also with dresses ^^ 

IW x Rozen Maiden Kanaria bolero: Another collab piece, I have problems XD 

My real problem is with these vest/waist coat pieces ^^

It looks like I have a bit more than last year, but I think I finally know what colors & styles are good for me and I've Really embraced 2nd hand items and how many places I can search for them ^_^

I think i left out some items, but you can see it on my last year's post...which is right before this one since i haven't been blogging much, heh ;P
